U 11 Football - Great wins at Pairc Ciceim - Also News Letter for U11
St Sylvesters Second team - 5g 10 points vs Ballymun Kickhams 4g 4 pts
It was fairly even at half time but in the second half the lads found
their kicking boots with a number of fine scores across the team from
Keelan McCormack, Cathal Rainey & Jack Larkin. Adam Reilly and
Cathal Rainey took complete control of midfield and completely dominated
as they took some fine scores from long range in the second half while
Sean O'Donnell mopped up everything on the half back line and took a
number of fine scores as a result of surging runs into the oppositions
half.
David Lynch took over in goals and played some excellent passes to his
teammates which resulted in a number of fine scores further up the
pitch. Mikey Barrett moved to defence along with Sam Murphy & Joe
Shannon and all did some excellent work in connecting passes to the
midfiled and forwards.Jeff Scollard narrowly missed a goal chance mid
way through the second half and Killian Jennings was also proving a
handful up front. Meanwhile Sam Murphy, Peter Tumelty and John Clifford
ensured nothing got by them in the second half. Sean Lonergan took over
in goals and played some fine passes to his teammates from kickouts
which resulted in further scores for Sylvesters.
