U12 B finish with a win

Our 12b footballers finished a very successful season with a win against Oliver Plunketts. Having only lost one competitive match this year and that was by a point we finished with a win against a well organised Plunkett's team. In the first half we struggled and should have been behind at half time but managed to hang on and ride our luck to go in level.

The 2nd half was a different story with a much bigger effort displayed by Syls and despite some wayward shooting we out scored the opposition by 2.1 to 2pts. As well as the success we have had on the pitch we have recruited 4 new players and 2 of those, Paul Grehan and Luke Cassidy scored a goal each. Conor Armstrong has also made a welcome return after injury to bring the number of players on the panel to 20, this can make it difficult when using subs, although everyone got a run on Saturday, but will help when we move to 15 a side next year! We intend to continue training and to start an u12 Blitz with u12a's and u11's every Saturday from next Saturday. Thanks to parents for support and taking down goalposts.
