U16 girls second in Div2 - 3 on Dublin squad

The U16 girls are nearly finished their League Campaign. They are second in the table of eight to Fingallians in the U16 Div 2 with 22 points (three points for a win). Fingallians are on 25 points. In the last few weeks the teams have been involved in a top 4 bottom 4 extra round of matches.

Syls girls have won 7 games drawn one and lost only one. The draw was against Fingallians in Balheary on 3 April 11. Both teams now face each other in a top of the table clash in Broomfield on next Sunday 22 May 2011 at 3.30pm. This is the day of the Mini All Ireland Finals, so there should be plenty of people around. A win for Syls would put us level on points. Either way this team will have medals for the sixth year out of the last 7 seasons.

Three of this U16 side Kim White, Eimer Treacy, & Emily Reinisch,  will also be involved with the Dublin U16 Girls V Wexford in the Leinster Semi Final on next Saturday 21st May 2011. We all wish them the best of luck.
