U21 hurlers win over Craobh

U21 HC B St Sylvesters 1-11 Craobh Ciaran 1-06 U21 is an interesting grade these years, jammed in at the end of the season and this year coincides with the Minor competitions. Because it is only championship we pull teams together every year like a 'rabbit from a hat' and yesterday was no different - Minors, Juniors, Senior footballers, Senior Hurlers (ok, next year) playing together for the first time . . . I have always liked this grade but it has always been difficult for Dublin to accommodate it (going back to the 60's) . . . pity, but I don't have any suggestions . . .

We were delighted to take on a beat a tough Craobh outfit on a bright but cold afternoon. The two O'Flynns teamed up at midfield, Alan Foy was possibly man of the match, Fionn was delighted with his display, Conor McMahon returned after a long absence, the Morris brothers . . .
