Inters Great Team Performance Reaps Reward in AFL4
The AFL 4 team got back to winning ways after a few bad defeats by beating Castleknock 1-13 to 0-12 in Broomfield last night. Report >>
Teams were level at half-time but Syls put in a great 2nd half performance to pick up the two points. Luke Troy was on form up front scoring 1-3 from play with Brian McCarthy, Emmett McArdle and Paul Connolly also kicking some great points. But this was a real team performance with solid defensive displays from Derek Morris, Michael Dowling and Barry Ryan. Kevin Morris was also in top form in goal and pulled off some great saves at crucial times during the game. With Kevin O Flynn bossing the middle of the pitch Syls held on in the end to win against a good Castleknock team who are going well at the top end of the table.
