AHL9 lose at Raheny
AHL9: Raheny 4-8 v Syls 0-4 (St Annes Park , 28th June 2015)
Our unbeaten run ended abruptly in St Annes Park. Raheny had just shipped a heavy lose in the game before us and were determined from the start not to lose a second match. The 13-a-side didn’t suit us at all and Raheny exploited that to the full and did all the damage in the first half. Back to 15-a-side in 2nd half Syls managed to steady the ship but were unable to make inroads on the scoreboard. Our biggest concern was giving John Mangan (Teacher in Scoil Iosa and Raheny corner back) the bragging rights !
Training for Junior B’s continues on Mondays at 7:45 Broomfield, (Stick work only !)…all are welcome
