CELTIC CHALLENGE MATCH REPORTS - WEDNESDAY, MAY 25TH FRI, 27TH MAY 2016 Match Reports from Wednesday's Celtic Challenge Round 4 games: Dublin Clarke 0-19 Westmeath 1-04 Dublin Clarke continued their winning ways with a convincing win over a very well organised and resolute Westmeath side. It was a cagey opening with teams trading scores before Clarke's backs got on top with Hercus Svinghas and Joey Mowlds impressing throughout. A series of well taken score from Kevin Desmond, Luke McDwyer and Billy Ryan saw Dublin Clarke take a lead of 11-4 at the break with Westmeath unlucky not to be closer,

On the resumption Alex Hatt and Mark Grogan dominated proceedings around the middle and Dublin Clarke would go on to register the next 7 scores, Westmeath never gave up and scored a goal to bring it closer but Clarke through Ryan and McHugh kept Clarke well in front! 

Dublin Pearse 3-14 Kildare 0-11 

Dublin Pearse's best performance by far. They have improved with every game. 

They led 1-9 to 5 at half time the goal coming from Jason Byrne who was man of the match. Solid performances from Eoghan O'Neill and Jamie Weimann at the back. Ryan Farnan worked tirelessly throughout the game. 

Jason Byrne showed great skill throughout and got a another goal in the second half , as did Luke Hughes with a long surging run through the heart of the Kildare defence.
