Daniel Deneher Player of the Game
A well earned award for team captain Dan after a fine display in the final and doubly earned after an even more impressive effort in the semi against Marnóg. Dan also picked up a hurling medal with the U16s in the Shield a few weeks back and is a player we will surely see in the sky blue in years to come.
Dan's grand uncle, Father Dan Deneher, played for Cavan in the 1947 New York All Ireland but Dan's mam assures us he got his hurling from Wexford.
