David Magrath Memorial match 16th Oct
The Magrath family have put up a trophy in memory of David, who sadly passed away four years ago. David was a key player on the St Sylvester's juvenile football team that won the club's first championship at under 15 on St Patrick's Day 1990, the under 16 Championship in 1991 and the County Minor Football Championship in 1992. David was on the Dublin Minor Hurling panel which reached the Leinster Final in 1993.
He was also a key player on the St Sylvester's junior hurling team that earned promotion to Intermediate in 1995. A Junior Hurling Challenge game is organised for Malahide Castle pitch to honour David's memory on Sunday 16th October 2016 with Round Towers Lusk providing the opposition.
