Gala Night a great success

Congratulations to Paddy Miskelly and he brilliant committee for a great night out where we raised much needed funds to complete the second side of the Ball Wall and improve our winter training facilities. It was a brilliantly organised event, great fun compered for the Apres Match funny guy Barry Murphy. Chairman Ciaran Meehan welcomed and thanked our guests and attendees, Paddy talked about our facilities development and thanked the people who brought the Ball Wall to reality and Dublin Football manager Jim Gavin gave up his time to commend the club,on our ambitions, reminded the lads that the guys who want it enough will play for Dublin and entertained us with comments about the great achievements of the Dubs. I will ask Paddy to send some comments and maybe someone has better pictures, mine are not great.

Previous entries about the development of the Ball Wall are here. Thanks to the Stack Family for the initial sponsorship that gave us the encouragement and momentum, to the Committee chaired by Eddie Sullivan for the €100k Lotto Grant, very especially to Brendan Bannigan and Mick Stuart for their tireless work with the designers, builders, Fingal County Council and thanks to our local councillors for their continued support, we would get nowhere without them.
