Junior Football Medal Presentation

Congratulations to our Junior A team on a very successful year winning the B Championship and gaining promotion to Division 5. Dublin great Ciaran Whelan (Declan McGrath called him one of the two best mid-fielders of the modern era alongside another friend of St Sylvesters, Dara O'Shea) presented the medals and we thank him for taking the time to visit Syls. In a very nicely managed event Shane did a lovely pen picture of each of the lads, Declan McGrath recounted the three year journey from Div 7 and many of the incidents along the way, Tricky set out the challenge for the coming season, Niall Kelly was awarded Player of the Year to a resounding applause and the place was decorated with some great pictures to remember the successes.
