Junior Hurlers make C'ship Semis
JHC C QF St Sylvesters 2-16 Liffey Gaels 3-04 A pretty comprehensive win in the championship quarter finals over Liffey Gaels, a good mix of experience and youth meant we had a lot more running in us and an almost flawless display of free taking by Colm Boran coupled with some excellent hurling from Sean Graham, Thomas Colclough and Johnney Conway kept the scores ticking over.
All forwards got on the score sheet with a nice spread of scores. Defensively, despite the concession of 3 goals, we were very solid, confining Liffey to only 7 scores. Probably most pleasing was the great performances from the five minor players who lined out, Sean Foley and Mikey Meaney in the half back line, Eamon Loughney in the middle, Sean Graham and Eoin Cooney in the forwards.
