Junior Hurlers meet strong Realt Dearg
This was the 2nd meeting of these teams in two weeks and the return of Ciaran Murray, Mannix Ryan and Hillary to the starting 15 added some badly needed experienced.
But we were up against very well organised and drilled Realt and unfortunately came up a bit short in every department.
A much improved 2nd half effort plus a couple of Johnny Conway goals kept us in touch, but in truth Realt ran out comfortable winners 3-15 to 2-7.
Still 3 matches to play in this round robin phase...so some work to be done before we meet Kilmacud Crokes on Sun 8th May 11:00 Broomfield
