Ladies 7's roundup

This year's Ladies Football All Ireland 7's were run off in fine style and very efficiently yet again on Syl's and Naomh Mearnóg's grounds. The weather was very favourable and the players and spectators were full of praise about how well everything was run.

Croke Park and the two Clubs  can be proud of a good job well done.  On Syl's side, there were immense contributions from several members by way of organisation and set
up, making, baking and serving refreshments, car parking, etc., Thanks to  Angela Aherne, Redmond Aherne, Liz Clarke, Eoghan Cooney, Sandra Harney, Noel Harney, Carol Morris, Declan Morris, Suzanne Shiels, Michael Stuart, Brian Sullivan, Carol Wall, Noel Wall, Grainne Whalley.  Special thanks to Paddy Miskelly (Cadburys) and Anthony Cooney
(La Vazza) for refreshments and to Ronan Hayes for landscaping services.  We had Senior and Junior teams playing in the event.  Unforunately neither got out of their groups but the girls enjoyed the day and it did mark the return of Sinead Aherne to active service with St. Sylvester's.
