Louise Ryan in Dublin U21 All Ireland Tournament Squad on Saturday in Portmarnock
In total 18 clubs have representatives on the U21 panel of 2016 with Kilmacud Crokes leading the way with eight players, followed by O’Dwyers, Thomas Davis, Fingallians, St Margaret’s and Clontarf with two. Round Towers Clondalkin, St Brigid's, Whitehall Colmcille, Clann Mhuire, Na Fianna, Skerries Harps, O’Tooles, Templeogue Synge Street, St Sylvester’s, Foxrock Cabinteely, Clanna Gael Fontenoy and Man O War each have a player represented in the squad.
Six players namely Carla Rowe, Ciara McGuigan, Emer Ni Eafa, Mags Mohan, Molly Lamb and Olwen Carey are aiming to win their third U21 All Ireland medal in a row while Aoife Curran, Ciara Purdy, Eabha Rutledge, Eve Keogh, Kate Fitzgibbon, Katie Murray, Muireann Ni Scanaill and Niamh Ryan are hoping to add another U21 medal to the one they collected in 2015. In total 14 of this year’s panel have U21 All Ireland medal (s) in their collection which is a testament to how central Dublin values this U21 competition.
