Minor hurlers leave it behind in Ballyboden
MHC C Gr1 Ballyboden 1-09 St Sylvesters 0-10 We have already qualified for the semi-finals but it was still a pity to leave this one behind us at the wide open breezy Ballycullen. We trailed by 4 after playing into a strong wind in the first half and reeled in Boden in the first ten minutes of the second. Unfortunately we let Boden break away for a goal and a point and then we proceeded to make very hard work of pulling just two points back from plenty of possession and opportunities.
Credit to the Boden backline, they defended well but we still felt like we should have taken it. Bryn, Sean Foley and Dan Murphy were the pick of our lads while Ciaran Murphy and Niall McCann defended bravely in the first half.
