Minor Hurlers - We'll leave it there so!

MHC B Gr4 Clan na Mara 1-12 Fingallians 0-09 A win was not enough to get through the group stages as Thos Davis beat Maurs and they both finished above us. We were happy with our win over a very skilful Fins outfit and a good open game but we never really threatened to run up a big score needed if Davis lost. Thanks to Scoil Ui Conail's Seamus Fennessy and Tommy Naughton for joining up with us this year to compete in minor hurling. We were competitive in all games and were happy with our hurling.

Thanks also to all the players, it was a pleasure to work with all of you and we hope to see hurling away for a long time to come.

Special word to Rory Martin who took ill mid season and was badly missed. We all wish you well Rory.

Mel and Bernard have been with these lads since 2003 and have shared many great days with you and your families and we would like to thank you all and all the St Sylvesters people who have supported us over the years. Even today there was a great crowd over in Swords.
