Niamh and Nicole into All Ireland Semi Finals
Congrats to Niamh McEvoy and Nicole Owens both of whom featured in the
starting line up for Dublin against Ulster rivals Monaghan in Saturday's
quarter final in Clones. Dublin had a strong lead by half time having
notched up 1.07 to Monaghan's 0.4.
However Monaghan resumed with a flourish and Dublin failed to score for the first twelve minutes of the second half. Niamh McEvoy then scored a wonderful point to set Dublin back on track and the Dublin scores began to flow. Monaghan never gave up and the strength of Dublin's bench was crucial in the final ten minutes.
