Seniors lose at Glenalbyn
AFL1 Kilmacud Crokes 0-16 St Sylvesters 0-14 Never out of it but always a couple of points off the pace on Saturday evening away to Crokes. We were very tight on our panel and didn't have the backup late in the game to make the push for the win. We did score plenty of good points, Jockser, Eoin Fanning, Niall, Alan Foy all contributing but the few goal chances we spurned in the first half were probably the missed chance to win.
Stephen Finnegan made a couple of good saves in the second half and Crokes just missed a couple of goal chances. Ross and Shane worked very hard against strong opposition and our backline did well to hold a sometimes very lively Crokes forward line.
I think the lads have a well earned break now
