Some fine football in seniors win over Cuala
AFL1 St Sylvesters 0-18 Cuala 2-10 A super fifteen minutes just after the break when we hit seven or eight straight points without reply gave us a fairly convincing win over a depleted Cuala last evening. Maybe it was the fact that Micháel is away that gave the forwards the ambition to shoot on sight, they pretty much all contributed good scores. Dave and Brian Sexton led the way, Garry Sweeney carried brilliantly and is almost back to his best, Scooby and Ross owned the middle, Shane continued his excellent form of late.
Little bit of a pity that we let Cuala in for a late goal to make the game look close, I would love to see us finish games going away, not getting pegged back, but that's just a little whinge, we look like we are starting to gel.
