St Sylvester’s GAA club notes December 1st

The junior hurlers lost their league final play-off to a very mobile Skerries Harps who got the first half goals that made the difference. There were some very good performances especially from the minors. Greg Hannon has a very competitive team here playing in his own image and likeness.

Our junior football team were beaten by a very good Cuala team in the league play-offs. They had a great season and have built up a very good squad with a combination of youth and experience. Well done managers Declan McGrath and Shane Cowley.

The senior football team play their league semi- final away in Ballyboden on Wednesday and a win will mean they play the final on Sunday at home to St Brigits. Please come along and support them.

The under 21 football team play their championship semi-final at home to Na Fianna on Saturday at 2.15. They won’t disappoint and they deserve your support.

The parents and mentors night last Saturday was a great success. Next Saturday December 7th Santa will be visiting the club to meet our academy member at 1.30 pm at their Christmas Party.
