St Sylvester's notes May 26

The onward march of the senior women’s team in the championship continued with a fine win over Thomas Davis which has booked them a place in the semi-final stages. The team’s last group game takes place against Na Fianna in Broomfield on Wednesday evening. Please show your support.

The feel-good factor in the girls’ section was demonstrated by the unbeaten run of the Under 13s to the league title. Congratulations to all
involved.

The was a notable contribution from Sylvester’s players’ to Fingal’s win in the Nicky Rackard semi-final success away to Donegal which vindicated the decision of the clubs to enter this competition. The final is on June 7th, which should be a very good way to get in the mood for the Strictly Syls Come Dancing which takes place in the Regency Hotel that night.

There are a limited number of tickets remaining for the dancing spectacular, available in the club and from the dancers involved.

Even with so many players away on Fingal duty, the AHL3 team managed a very good win over Na Fianna and the juniors won over Erin’s Isle.
