Syl's girls in scoring form as Dublin Ladies outclass Monaghan
Sinead Aherne (0-7, 2 frees), Nicole Owens (1-2) and Niamh McEvoy (1-0)
contributed handsomely to this one sided affair that ended Dublin 5-18,
Monaghan 0-6. Dublin played a fast paced running /passing game and quickly
established their superiority with Nicole finishing off a slick passing
movement to score the first point.
The game was over as a contest by half time with Dublin leading by 5-8 to 0-4. All six of Dublin's starting forwards got on the score sheet with Carla Rowe the leading scorer on 2-5
(3 frees). Even with Dublin playing 11 subs during the course of the second half, they still won that half by 0-10 to 0-2
