Thanks for Your Contribution in 2016

As the year draws to a close and many of you are hopefully enjoying a well-deserved break, we would like to send our thanks for the huge contribution you have made to the young people in our club and the broader community within Malahide. Our club and it’s members are blessed to have so many committed volunteers who have freely given up their time and resources to make such an important contribution to the development of our young people.

Juvenile Report at 2016 AGM

Huge progress has been made in so many areas, much of which is long-term investments that will only become apparent in the future as our teams become more successful in both sporting codes and our club continues to thrive. Attached is a reminder of the report covered at the recent club AGM. In many ways the Juvenile Boys section has been the driving force behind much of the recent progress being made, particularly with facilities development and fund-raising. Most of this effort has been driven by your partners and families. Please keep this going as the benefits will flow to your kids and players in the years ahead.

 There are so many positive contributions being made by so many people that it is impossible to thank everyone individually. Please reflect on the contribution you have made and acknowledge it individually and collectively.

 We often forget to celebrate success and the mentors night on the 27th December is a great opportunity to get together to connect with new & old friends – we look forward to seeing you there.

 On a personal note it has been a privilege to be involved with so many great people in the last few years – it has not been without its challenges and pressures – however overall it has been hugely positive.  The new Juvenile Boys committee will be confirmed at the AGM in January – please give them your support and do get involved to help deliver more improvements.

In my new role as club Chairperson, I will attempt to help provide the leadership to bring St Sylvesters to the next level of success – in this, we will all need your continued support, friendship and commitment.
