The Inseperable 3 - Last Men Standing

Well the group stages are complete and we are left with just 3 survivors to go into the knockout rounds. Somebody remarked to me the other day that they now understand why Paddy Power makes all the money - sometimes sport isn't as predictable as you might think

We have Algeria, USA and Costa Rica in the last 16. The failure to win by Uruguay vs Costa Rica knocked out nearly half the field; Nigeria failing to beat Iran then claimed another few in round 2. Spain then disappointed a few by going down to Chile in round 3 while Italy decimated the field by going down to Costa Rica in Round 4. At this point we were left with 8 player before Germany were held by Ghana and we were left with our final 3: John Drumm,

Paddy Kelly and Dieckmann Cogill who have held their nerve in the last couple of rounds to make it through. But there is only 1 prize - the winner will make off with €468 and the losers will get nothing. The rules for the next round are as follows:

1. If you successfully picked 7 winners in rounds 1–7 you’re a genius and you’re into the Round of 16. Here you need to predict the correct
scores of all 8 matches. Whoever gets the most right will win the pot. 
2. If two or more players predict the same amount of scores they go through to the Quarter Finals where the process repeats itself until
there’s only one winner.
