U21s lose to Whitehall
U21 HC B St Sylvesters 1-09 Whitehall Colmcille 4-12 Two late goals made it look worse that it really was but we trailed for most off the game and and probably cannot have too many complaints. That is not to say we did not compete well for most of the game but a period of Syls dominance mid second half, trailing by 4 or 5, yielded a few points when we really needed a goal and a mishit deceived David Kennedy and Alan Kavanagh to give Whitehall a goal against the run of play and our fate was sealed.
Nice to see Alan, Conor Ryan, Conor Quinn, Scooby and other lads hurling, I hope we see more next year. Some of our minors showed well, Simon was very commanding in the middle, Eoin Kennedy had a great first half with a good goal and two points from play, Scrappy was also very lively along with Collie Boran and Thomas.
