Who'll be Rockin around the Christmas Tree tonight? - The Know Your Sport Winners - that's who!

... and the winner is Daire Clare who managed to score a wonderful 65 points from a maximum of 95 available. Daire wins €500 just in time for Christmas. In 2nd place on 62 points was Riain Gardiner and in 3rd on 60 was Matthew O'Neill. Rian and Matthew will get €300 & €200 euros respectively for their efforts. 

Incidentally the prediction which came as the biggest surprise for entrants was Justin Rose (UK) winning the Olympic Gold medal in golf - only 21 people predicted that. Real Madrid winning the Champions League also surprised all but 26 wise heads. The most predictable result last year was Cork winning the Ladies All Ireland - 61% of entrants called that in March. The results that let the most people down were Kilkenny losing in the hurling (254 incorrect), Djokovic losing out at Wimbledon (245) and Barca/Arsenal failing to win the Champions League (238).
