The Club wishes to extend its sincere sympathies to the Deneher Family on the death of Maurice Redmond, father of Una Deneher - mother of St. Sylvester’s players Daniel and David and father in law of hurling team manager Jimmy. Ar dheis Dé go Raibh a anam. Arrangements are as follows:
In his 95th year, peacefully in the care of the staff of Knockeen Nursing Home Barntown. Beloved husband of the late Nancy. Sadly missed and dearly loved by his family, daughters Úna, Imelda, Carmel, Mary, Catherine, Siobhán and Patricia, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Lizzie and Birdie, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Reposing in Knockeen Nursing Home on Friday March 1st from 3pm-7pm. Removal from his home on Saturday 2nd to St Alphonsus Church, Barntown for Funeral Mass at 1pm, burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
