St. Sylvesters win SFC Round 3 match v St Judes
Dublin Senior Football Championship: Our senior team faced fellow quarter-final qualifiers St Judes this afternoon at Parnell Park and came away with an excellent win. They will face Kilmacud Crokes in the quarter finals on 29th or 30th September - date TBC >>>

The Syls men were leading by 1-06 after 20 minutes with a goal by Jack Hazley and with St Judes yet to score. It wasn't long after when the Jude's men found the bar with three points followed quickly by a goal that set up the challenge for the second half.
Three minutes into the second half, Alex Wright added another goal to the Syls tally but Judes answered with a flurry of points. It was looking close with just 2 points in it but a missed chance at goal by Judes gave our men the confidence to stretch ahead. The final moments saw Kevin Archibald drop three points over the bar to leave our men victorious at the final whistle.
