Also good luck to our U15s in the Hurling C Shield Final at Bridgefield. Last on Monday, our Minor ladies are in football action for their Championship Final at O'Tooles v Castleknock. Syls U13s Fall In Final to Garristown Girls
Our U13 ladies put in a performance all could be proud of today at Broomfield showing Garristown they were well up to the challenge of today's Shield Final playoff. Despite a spirited performance and some fantastic scores, our girls lost the battle in the second half conceding a couple of goals that put the visitors ahead and gave them the self-belief to push for the win. Our Club For All Seasons - New Sports Campus at Broomfield
After many generations of hoping and dreaming of appropriate winter training facilities for our players, we are delighted to confirm that our new all-weather facility will be completed before the end of 2018.

Fixtures 20 & 21st October '18
As the season nears its end there are some great quarter final matches to reward you for the journey away. On Saturday, we play the U16 Football Shield Q/F to St Vincents and on Sunday, our 2nd Minor team are away to Ballyboden in their Shield Quarter final. For the home game, our U15 hurlers play the QF of their Shield at Bridgefield. Throw in at 11:30. Our girls' footballers are also in Championship knockout stages on Sunday at Broomfield. Good luck to all our teams playing quarter finals this weekend - away and at home.

Peter O’Brien & Sons Awarded Contract for St Sylvesters Allweather Pitch Build
St Sylvesters have recently appointed Peter O’Brien and Sons as the main contractor for the development of a start of the art All Weather Facility in Broomfield Malahide. Peter O’Brien and Sons will work with SIS Pitches to deliver a vital playing resource for our players and indeed our local schools & community.

This week sees our men back in league action away on Saturday. Our first team in Division 1 to Lucan and our 2nd team, away at Erins Isle. On Sunday, our third team host St Mary's Saggart at Broomfield. They'll appreciate your support. Good luck to our Minor hurlers playing important games in the third round of their Championship - 1st team playing home to St Brigid's in the B Champ while the 2nd team travel to Lucan in the E Champ. Lastly, keep Monday evening free for whats sure to be a great game as our senior ladies look to settle a score with FoxCab - the team that put them out of the Championship this year. St Sylvester's GAA Gala Ball 2018 Tickets On Sale
Tickets are now on sale for our 4th Annual Gala Ball to be held on Saturday 10th November at The Grand Malahide. ! We are celebrating our 'Field of Dreams' at Broomfield becoming a reality with the new build of our All Weather Pitch. Funds raised from the Gala Ball will go to the completion of the build which we expect by the end of this year. Healthy Clubs Youth & Coach Talks -Tues 16th October
Our Healthy Clubs Committee are holding two very good Jigsaw talks in the Club next week, Tuesday 16th October. One is a presentation for coaches - the one good person that our young people often feel they can talk to if they need to. The other is an interactive workshop for teenagers (13-17 year olds)promoting good mental health - they will run simultaneously. Talks start at 8pm.
