Compulsory mouthguards

Following the introduction of new rules in relation to mouthguards for Gaelic football in 2013 and 2014, it is now compulsory for all juvenile and adult players (excluding adult females) to wear mouthguards when training and playing games.

GAA clubs now have the opportunity to order mouthguards in bulk through our website www.gaa.ie<http://www.gaa.ie/tickets-and-merchandise/merchandise/mouthguards/mouthguard-purchases-for-gaa-clubs/>. These boil and bite, self-fit mouthguards are offered at a discounted rate and there is a range of colours available to order.

* ???The 'boil and bite' mouthguard is made from thermoplastic material. It is placed in hot water to soften, then placed in the mouth and shaped around the teeth using finger and tongue pressure
* ?????There are two types of mouthguards:
* ????Bronze mouthguards (for age 7 and up) - EUR6 per mouthguard - available in black, green, red, blue, pink and white
* ??Silver junior mouthguards (for age 7 and below) - EUR11 per mouthguard - available in black and blue
* ?Orders taken in quantities of 48 or 72 only
