Poor start kills the U16s

U16F Div2 Three early goals caught us flat footed on the all weather at Ballymun and we just never quite recovered. We played into a strong cold wind in the first half and battled back gamely, dominating the second quarter but didn't convert enough on the scoreline. We came out strong in the second half but, again, didn't convert enough to dent Ballymuns lead, missing goal chances an both posts and the opposing keeper making a few great saves.

Bryn Redmond converted two late penalties but a breakaway Ballymun goal was enough to see them home.

Nice to see Danial back after a long layoff and, allround we looked strong so hopefully we will bounce back quickly.
