Six Syls players nominated for Blue Stars

Well done to Brian Sexton, Fionn Carney, Gavin McArdle, Eoin Fanning, Eugene Keating and Nigel Dunne - not a bad representation for Syls I suppose - dominated by Ballymun and Vincents with 11 each.

Vinnies and Ballymun Kickhams top Dubs Stars nominations   13/11/2013

It was very difficult to prise apart newly crowned Dublin senior football champions, St Vincent’s, and last year’s winners, Ballymun Kickhams, in their recent final which went to a replay after extra-time – now they jointly top the poll in the annual Dublin Bus/The Herald Dubs Stars football nominations.

Fourteen clubs in total are represented with both Vins and the Mun getting 11 nominations each.

The annual Dubs Stars hurling and football games will be hosted by Round Towers, Clondalkin, on New Year’s Eve.
