St Sylvester’s GAA club notes 23rd March

Sunday was a very fine day with all of our four adult football teams winning their games AFL1 Templeogue SS 1-8 St Sylvester’s 2-12 The senior football team had a very good win away to Templeogue. The forwards had a very good outing. AFL3 St Sylvester’s 4-13 St Marks 1-8

The intermediate forwards were also on fire putting up a very impressive score against St Marks.

AFL6 Wanderers 0-5 St Sylvester’s 1-12

The Junior A team beat Wanderers and the junior B team had a six point victory over Palmerstown.

Next Sunday the adult hurlers and minor football teams are in action.

The intermediate hurlers play at home to Naomh Barrog at 10.30 and the Junior hurlers are also at home to Naomh Olaf at 12.00.

The minor a football team play at home to Naomh Barrog at 11.00 and the minor b team play away to St Finians at the same time.

The under 12s are running a quiz next Friday March 28th at 8.30pm to raise funds for their trip to Ardara. Please come along and support.

The club extends sincere sympathy to Gary Penrose and his family on the sad passing of Gary’s grandfather, Pinnie Penrose.
