St Sylvester’s GAA club notes 2nd February

Ciaran Roche and Donal Hayes banked a whole lot of cash for the club with a wonderful fundraiser on Saturday, the football sevens. They also banked even more for the club in terms of the solidarity and goodwill generated by bringing the whole club together for a great day in the field and a full house in the club.

Well done, it was a great occasion. I believe the natural order was maintained with a win for the boys from the Hill…..

The ladies were well represented in the football sevens and they will be running their own fundraiser next Friday night February 7th, with a bumper quiz night. Please come along and support this very attractive event.

The ladies are also in search of a manager for the senior football team. Please direct all enquiries or suggestions to any member of the Ladies Games Committee, Michael Stuart, Angela Aherne, Suzanne Shiels, Katharina Ryan or Brian Sullivan.

All the men’s teams now have management in place and Broomfield was a hive of activity even on Friday night last. Sincere thanks to all who have generously taken up the challenge. Go n-éirí libh.

The Lotto jackpot continues to grow and this week there is €5,050 to play for. Play and win on www.stsylvesters.ie
