St Sylvester's GAA Club - THIS FRIDAY 2nd May, from 8pm.

Who will dance the Cha-cha-cha? Who will do the Rumba? What about the Tango? Come along to the launch of St Sylvester’s “Strictly Come Dancing” in the clubhouse this Friday night (May 2nd) – kick-off is 8pm – to find out who will be strutting their stuff on the floor at the club's dancing extravaganza.

Friday’s launch party is open to everyone, where 30 of St Sylvester’s finest will discover who they will be paired with for the “Strictly Come Dancing” fundraiser which takes place in The Regency Hotel in Whitehall on Saturday, June 7th (with doors opening at 7pm).

Tickets for the “Strictly Syls” event in June will cost €25 each and are limited to 850 people on a first-come, first serve basis. They promise to be the hottest ticket in town.

Our 30 volunteers come from all sections of the club and, apart from being an important fundraiser to support the club’s activities, it is also an opportunity to galvanise the club’s membership and for everyone to enjoy what promises to be a really great night out.

The dancers will be paired into couples at Friday night’s launch – nobody will know who is dancing with who until the actual announcement – and, after that, the hard work begins for each dancer as they undergo training for a specific dance for "Strictly Syls" in The Regency on June 7th.

How can you help?

The best way to support is to be there. As we know from going to Croke Park for the big championship games, nothing beats being there. Please support the event by buying a ticket – which are now available – or through sponsoring your favourite dancer. Sponsorship cards will be distributed to each team in the club.

This promises to be a truly terrific night’s fun  . . . . drop along to the club on Friday night for the launch where you can see the brave women and men who have volunteered to take to the floorboards for Syls.
Be part of the fun.
