U21s reach semi-final with classy display
U21 A FC St Sylvesters 4-10 Castlenock 0-08 Yes, it was a comprehensive win over a Castlenock team who had defeated Vincents in the previous round and looked pretty sharp early on. Jack got us off to a great start high fielding a superb cross field ball from Alan Foy and burying in the net. Castlenock steadied themselves and scored three good points but the Syls rearguard got on top and we knocked off six straight points to lead 1-06 to 04 at the break.
As castlenock tried to get themselves back into the game we caught them twice with fast ball forward for Mark Hazely to goal and we wrapped it up from there.
Next up is Na Fianna in the semi finals - promises to be a great game.
