St Sylvester’s GAA club notes

Audi Dublin North did another superb job on the family fun day and barbeque and even organised the very pleasant weather. Thank you to all who helped in this great event. The junior football team were a point down at half time but held Wanderers scoreless for the second half and ran out convincing winners with 2-11 to 1-4. They move on now to the semi-final. On Tuesday they defeated Ballymun Kickhams by 2-5 to 1-6.

The minor hurlers defeated Ballinteer in Broomfield with a very good all round team performance by 3-12 to 1-9 with some excellent defending and a potent attack. The under 16 hurlers defeated Parnells by 2-13 to 0-4.

The intermediate hurlers play Trinity Gaels in the championship on Wednesday 23rd at 19.15 in Drumnigh. The junior hurlers play Brendans in the championship in Grangegorman on Tuesday 22nd at 19.15.

The ladies continue their championship run against Ballinteer on Monday 21st in Broomfield at 7.30.
