St Sylvester’s GAA club notes

Senior Hurling B championship semi final Our odyssey in our first senior hurling championship came to an end at the semi-final stage in Parnell Park on Saturday evening. Parnell’s got the goals that ultimately made the difference but they were made to work very hard for every score. The obvious disappointment with the result reflects the level of ambition to succeed at this level and in time we will reflect on this campaign very positively.

It was a great day to be a Dub with a fantastic victory in the All Ireland final. Mayo put in a great performance to make it a great contest and our members from Mayo can be equally proud of their team.

Minor A Football Championship - Cuala 2-16 St Sylvester’s 2-8 We have a very talented group of players at this level and a very good management team. They will put this set back behind them.

Next Sunday September 29th we have some great games in adult football and minor hurling.
