St Sylvester’s GAA Club notes 30th September

The junior a football team won the Parson’s Cup with a 0-13 to 1-07 score over Robert Emmett’s. They play the league decider next Sunday away to St Vincent’s at 11.00 am. Declan McGrath and his management team have recorded thirteen wins with just one loss in a remarkable league campaign.

Kevin O Flynn played very well at midfield for the second half of the All Ireland Minor Hurling Final in Croke Park for Dublin. Their opponents Tipperary had a commanding half time lead and ran out worthy winners. Our minor hurlers play championship away to Kilmacud Crokes on Sunday October 7th at 11.00am.


The ladies scored 5-13 to Crettyard’s 1-7 in another convincing win in their quest for the Leinster title in Portlaoise.


The senior football team drew with Ballymun in the Vincent De Paul Cup Final. They play championship against St Oliver Plunkett’s at 17.00pm in Parnell Park next Saturday, October 6th. The intermediate football team play their championship quarter final against Cuala on Thursday, October 4th in St Margaret’s at 19.30. Please come along and support.
