St Sylvester’s GAA club notes 3rd June

Darren Clarke scored eight points for Louth against Dublin, with a magnificent point from a line ball the pick of the bunch in what was an excellent performance. Two great performances from both the Dublin football and hurling teams gave us a great start to this year’s championships.

AFL1 O'Toole’s 0-07 St Sylvester’s 1-12

The senior football team had a very good victory over O’Toole’s in the league and they both face each other in the championship next Friday in Drumnigh at 19.30.

All our football teams had good wins this week with the intermediates defeating Naomh Olaf, the junior As winning against St Vincent’s and the junior Bs getting the better of neighbours Naomh Mearnóg.

The intermediate hurlers play championship against Whitehall Colmcilles in Broomfield on Saturday May 9th at 18:30.

The junior hurlers also play championship against Naomh Fionnbarra in Malahide Castle on Sunday May 10th at 11:00.

The under 12s are running a fundraising quiz night on Friday May 8th at 8.30 pm to raise funds for their upcoming trip to Ardara.
