Minor Football A championship - St Sylvester’s 1-10 Castleknock 0-6

Castleknock had the aid of a stiff wind in the first half and were ahead 6 points to 4 at half time but they did not add to that score at all in the second half. Our defence acquitted themselves very well in the second half and our full forward line scored a series of very well taken points. The goal came from David Sexton after a very nice set up from Colm Byrne and that score sealed the victory. A really good attendance was treated to an excellent match. Watching a passionate Panner stalking the line with lads he has worked with since junior infants was also a joy to see. Brilliant. Keep a look out on the website for details of the semi-final.

Hearty congratulations to Ballymun Kickhams who became Leinster Champions today for the very first time with victory over Portlaoise. Come on the Mun. Finish the run.
