St Sylvester’s GAA club notes Nov 4th

The intermediate football team drew with St Monica’s in their last game of the league and qualified for the play offs. This is a great achievement and the prospect of senior football next year for this team is a mouth watering prospect. Don’t miss the play offs.
  • Under 21 C Championship Hurling St Sylvester’s 1-12 Craobh Ciarán 1-6  A very strong defensive performance held the Craobh scoreless from play. Cillian O Flynn’s excellent point from midfield was one of the scores of the game. The pass from brother, Kevin made it a family affair. The conditions and the battle had to be overcome to achieve this victory and there was no lack of skill on display. We had a full deck on the sideline with managers Morris and Ryan putting it all together.
  • The minor hurling championship match against Erins Isle was called off just before the off due the conditions.
  • The under 21 football team play A championship against Skerries Harps next Saturday, November 11th at 14.30 in St Anne’s.
  • The junior 9 hurlers play O’Dwyer’s on Sunday, November 11th at 14.30 with the venue to be confirmed.
