Girls Mini All-Ireland Finals at Broomfield June 12th 2016
Even the sun came out to play at Broomfield last Sunday as Syl’s younger girls battled it out for All-Ireland honours in glorious summer conditions. More than 60 girls, divided into 6 county teams, took part in the competition on Sunday, preliminary rounds having taken place on the two previous Wednesdays. Each team was cheered on enthusiastically by large numbers of proud parents, family and friends.
U10 Girls Keep Up Winning Ways
Our U10 girls traveled to Ballymun on Saturday and kept up their good run winning all 4 matches. We were missing quite a few girls with the communion's on Saturday but we still had 20 kids there. The girls showed some great pieces of skill and took some really good scores. Ballymun did put it up to us at times but our girls came through in the end in all 4 matches. Our next game is against Beann Eadair which will a real test for us. Cathal
U10 girls maintain unbeaten record
Under 10 Girls had another great win against our old rivals St. Vincent's, that's victories in every game so far this year. The girls have all improved and outplayed St. Vincent's in every area of the field. Keep up the good work
U9 Girls debut v St. Pats Donabate
It was with great pride that the parents of our U9 girls assembled in Donabate on Saturday afternoon to watch their daughters pull on the famous blue and green jersey’s for the first time. This group graduated from the nursery last summer and they have been training away on Wednesday evenings since.
