Niamh and Nicole to bring huge honour to Syls in Parnell Park next Saturday
The ladies match is now switched to starting time of 2.00 p.m. Just perfect , start in Parnell Park where our club girls are playing, and then saunter up to Croke Park for the Dublin v Mayo replay. The Jackies take on Armagh in the All Ireland semi-final in Parnell Park at 2.00pm. What an achievement for a medium size club to have two players on the county squad. Both started and had fine games in the quarter final victory against Monaghan. Lets support the girls in numbers. No long treck to Birr involved, just a short hop to Donnycarney. Let's make it an evenIng out for Syls and show our true club spirit. U16s free . Students and senior citizens €5 and adults €10.
Niamh and Nicole into All Ireland Semi Finals
Congrats to Niamh McEvoy and Nicole Owens both of whom featured in the starting line up for Dublin against Ulster rivals Monaghan in Saturday's quarter final in Clones. Dublin had a strong lead by half time having notched up 1.07 to Monaghan's 0.4.

Spirited display by Junior Ladies
Syls Junior Girls put in a great performance last night in the Championship V Ballyboden Wanders in Ballyboden. While the Malahide girls were very short on numbers and did not win this game it was probably the best game they ever played. Syls playing with the wind ended up 3-7 to 0-5 behind at half time. Ironically despite the scoreline Syls had actually played some good football in the first half.
Niamh and Nicole in Leinster Final win
Congrats to the Dublin Ladies winning their fourth consecutive Leinster over a competitive Westmeath yesterday at Carlow. Niamh McEvoy contributed a goal and many assists and Nicole came off the bench to sore a point.

Girls battle gamely against Na Fianna
Ladies Senior Division 1 Our ladies put in a great second half against a stronger Na Fianna in Broomfield last evening. Fair play to the junior players for stepping up, especially Jackie Costelloe for her brave goal keeping, Carol Hickey showing the energy of girls half her age, Orla who took a nasty knock, hope you are ok. Niamh Harney worked tirelessly in the middle, Cliodhna Hamill and Lea Harold defended well and everyone on the field worked really hard. Missing our county players to county action and other senior players due to vacation and injury is a heavy load to carry but great credit to the girls for their very spirited display. It's a very young team with a great future and it was great to see support on the line.
Niamh McEvoy helped Dublin to Leinster Final
Niamh McEvoy gave an exhibition of providing the "link" between the Dublin defense and attack yesterday. Niamh operating from the Number 14 position was the key target for kicked balls into the full forward line, with her quick hands Niamh transferred the ball to her colleagues who made intelligent runs to support.
Junior Ladies first win
The Junior Ladies Team had their first win in the League after a great game in Broomfield. 3-9 to 3-8 was final score with a one point win V Ballyboden Wanderers. This was a great time to get the first official win as they are home V Clan Na Gael in the Championship next Wednesday 8 July 2015. We want to thank Des Rainey and some of his U16 Team for helping us out. Eddie Ann & Declan Syls Abu

Syls minors give boden a malahiding
st sylvesters 3-15 v ballyboden st endas 0-0 I'll credit Keith with the headline, you may be sure Boden have and will give us the same from time to time. Monday night in broomfield brought ballyboden to the heart of sylvesters home ground and this time it was bodens hearts broken,it started on the whistle with syls winning the first throw in and that set the tone for the night as syls put on a majestic display of fast attacking football and hard defending,
Four wins in a row for minor girls
The minor girls win again that's 4 matches in a row and three in the league, on Monday on a wet and windy night syls traveled to naomh barròg and the conditions were very bad syls against the wind in the first half started sharp but found it hard to break through the barròg defence and found themselves 2points down but eventually settled and got back level with some smart play and great point taking.half time came and syls came out of the traps firing on all cylinders amazing passing and moving left barròg on the back foot and chasing shadows!
