This is the largest number we have had over the seven years that the camp is running. It is a tribute to all the hard work being done by the mentors in the juvenile section.

The U15s continued to find is tough, losing to Castlenock in Div1 and to St Peters in Div7. The U16s had a good win away to Parnells in Div2 but lost to Lucan in Div7.
Mentors and Coaches for juvenile teams
We have a couple of juvenile teams needing coaching support, two of about eighteen, and Paddy Miskelly would love to talk to any ex or current players or mentors who might be available to lend some support. It is great fun and you would be surprised how much enjoyment and satisfaction you can get from coaching and being involved so don't dismiss the idea, have a chat with Paddy or Fergal - patrick.miskelly@mdlz.com. Theres a whole lot of hurling going on
I think we fileded 10 teams in juvenile hurling between Bridgefield and the Castle this morning from U8 to U11. I watched some U9 against Craobh Ciaran and there was some lovely hurlers on show. I watched the second half of an excellent and highly competitive U11 game against a fine Naomh Marnóg outfit. Super stuff that anyone who likes hurling would enjoy. It would be nice to get pictures and reports. It was great to see some of our senior hurlers out helping and it would be great also to see more of our hurling fraternity out supporting, we have some great players and coaches coming through.
